Walgreens: $25 gift card for prescription transfer

by crystal on August 27, 2008

Through August 31, 2008 if you transfer any prescription to Walgreens, you’ll get a $25 gift card by using this coupon here.

Note: If your CVS accepts competitor’s coupons, you should be able to use this there as well.

Thanks, Laura!

Edit: Thanks to Steph who pointed out that the fine print says this is only good in Florida. Ugh! Sorry for not noticing that the first time. I guess if you live in Florida, you might have reason to be thankful!

On the fine print, it said it’s only good in Florida. Has anyone from another state been able to use it?

I used it yesterday. I’m in Kentucky and it went through without a hitch! I never even noticed the fine print.

There was a CVS $25 transferred prescription offer sticky on the front of my Sunday newspaper this weekend.

I had the same deal print out for me with a regular transaction at the front register (without a prescription or anything pharmaceutical) that doesn’t expire until mid-September. Would that be called a catalina??

We had a new Walgreens built in our area, and they sent out $25 Walgreens checks to use after you transfer a prescription. I did it. Needless to say, it was well worth it! My copay on my prescription is only $5. Not too bad of a return, I would say.

I used it yesterday in Ohio without any problems.
