Laura -- SwapaCD has a fee because the site automatically refunds your credit if there are any problems with the transcation. It is a form of insurance and offsets the cost for the founders. (With the other two sites, you have to ask the Sender to return your credit if the book/DVD is damaged ...)

Love all three sites and SwapaDVD is definitely worth checking out! =)

The swap-a-dvd looks great I signed up using your link. I posted my 10 dvds and people immediately requested 4 of them. I now have 5 credits to get different dvds for my daughter. What a great way to recycle outgrown movies!!!

Of course, all of your advice is sound.Crystal, Thank you for approaching this sometimes emotionally sensitive subject with candor. It might seem a little extreme, but here's one idea. Completely eliminate all processed sugar (corn syrup too) and all white flour from your diet. Even if you just use this as an experiment to see how much your lifestyle would have to change, it can help shed some unwanted weight. For those of us with a sweet tooth (I'm in this crowd) honey, real maple syrup, and dried fruits can offer some relief from the sugar cravings. But don't forget a sabbath from your diet! Once a week is a good guideline to use, when working very hard to accomplish a goal. You might be amazed at the endurance you have, and the motivation you're given, when you know that you will have a rest from your labor.

This has been around for awhile. Also check out SwapACD.com. Same deal. You can transfer credits back and forth between all three services.
