Through August 15, 2008, you can get hotel rooms at Super 8 motels across the country for only $8.88! At 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time every evening, they are offering 800 rooms for $8.88. If you are quick, you might be able to get one before they are sold out.
I’ve never stayed in a Super 8 motel before, but for $8.88 it might be worth a try!

Wow .. great deal, but would take some planning! I’ve stayed in very nice Super 8′s and some not-so-great ones. Just depends…
I have been trying for these rooms for the last 3 nights. No luck so far. I hope someone gets them. i get the feeling it maybe a scam. But, I am trying to be postive.
hhmmm…didn’t think about the scam thing. Though, 800 rooms could go very quickly when people are all trying across the country.
FYI – It’s 8 p.m. Eastern time, so be sure to adjust your time as necessary.
I’ve read that you can forget getting one of these unless you have a Wyndham Rewards card that puts all your info in for you when you enter the card number, so you don’t take up time typing it all in yourself. I’m still going to try though!

I actually got one last night. I logged in right at 8:00pm. I had already found the location and date that I wanted in advance.I didn’t have a Wyndham Rewards Card either. Just make sure you have your credit card ready to enter as quick as possible.
Well, no such luck. I tried the instant my clock turned over, typed in my information at lightning speed, and they still sold out within the 11 minutes that I was on a waiting page. Maybe tomorrow!
whooooohoooo…..I got one tonight and I chose the $100 Suite with a kitchen in Kissimmee for when we go to Disney for the Not So Scary Halloween Night.

I got a room! It was quite easy. Thanks for posting. We are going to see the original “Little House on the Prairie” in Independence KS this weekend. It will be a really nice and cheap road trip.
I doubt it’s a scam since it’s right on their website. I went right on at 7:00 (central time for me) and got a room at a really popular tourist area for the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I’ve stayed at this particular Super 8 before, so I know it’s a nice one. It ended up being a 2-room King Suite for a little over $9 with tax. Should be a fun weekend for me and the hubby!
I tried and didnt get through tonight, any tips from those who did? I want a room the second week of sept. this would be a huge blessing!
Okay, so now I know why I didn’t get one- there was alot of Money Saving Mom readers on here trying to get one, too! Like Jenni said, any tips? I don’t know what else to do- I logged in the instant it turned 7:00, and I still had no luck. = ( I am assistant pastor’s wife- and we need a getaway for a night!
I was waiting a few minutes before the site went active and was refreshing the page so I knew exactly when it went active. It probably also helped that we have high speed internet. I had also checked to make sure that the hotel had rooms available the night we were looking for so it didn’t come back unavailable. I’m actually surprised people had problems because it went so quickly for us and there was no waiting for the transactions or anything. Good Luck!!

I typed out my address, phone #, email, and check card number into a Word doc and then watched the second hand on my computer’s clock. Right at 8:00 ET, I clicked the link.
I had looked up the hotel before to be sure they had rooms for the night. I then copied and pasted my info into the form.
It worked just fine for me. Yeah for a super cheap weekend trip!!!
I got one!!! Who-hoo!!! A king suite with a jacuzzi- for $9.63!!! Now that’s what I call a deal! I am so excited- can you tell?

i’ve done it 3 nights, signed up for the rewards.. and nothing ;( there’s rooms available, but why can’t i win?? i even do it right at 8pm est and a few mins before. What am I doing wrong?
