We always buy meat in bulk (beef,pork, and chicken) and I freeze a lot of stuff to have on hand when I need to take a meal to someone who is sick or just needs to be blessed. So our freezer is pretty full, but it is also hooked up to a generator. Obviously this isn't something you are going to run right out and buy, but it would be a great addition to your home and I think stocking your freezer can be a great way to save money. Oh, it was bad. My dear Hubby couldn't get back to the house for 2 weeks after the storm. Ewww... I'm just glad that he dealt with that. I am really wanting to get another freezer and side of beef.
