Leslie, I can’t speak for others, but for myself I don’t have a lot of ECB’s yet. So smaller transactions allow me to get the items without having to pay with a large number of ECBs.

Nicole, Leslie is right. It prints out at the bottom of your receipt. You can then use it on your next order. Just tear them off and save them. (don’t lose them!) They do have an expiration date, too.

Hi Nicole,

I’m very new to the whole CVS thing too, but it is getting seriously addictive!! =) From all that I can tell, the ECB’s are printed out with your receipt and you can use each coupon like cash at CVS. Can anyone else tell me why you do several small transactions, instead of one big one?

I have not shopped at CVS with my newfound information and I am a little confused about how the ECBs work. On my first purchase are they put towards that or will it be stored on my card until next time?

I used two today (one per transactions) without any problems. I thought the lady was going to give me a hard time… she even rang up all my other coupons first making my total around $7 but then the coupon still went through without beeping!! I was pleasantly surprised!!
