I know prices vary by area, but I’ve seen you mention the free Kotex at Walmart before, and the cheapest I’ve seen the 16-count packages is $2.50 *on sale*! Which just seems ridiculous. I’ve gottem some great deals on various brands at CVS, and Kroger had some on clearance that I got free with coupons, so I’m quite well stocked, but it’s so frustrating sometimes when there’s such a difference.

Crystal, when I am signing up for free samples etc. there is frequetly a line that says “how did you hear about us?” I always check “other” and put moneysavingmom-blog. Does this ever help you in any way?

You can get a free ticket for a variety of museums and and cultural venues on September 27 by going to http://microsite.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/about.html and downloading the admission card. It is good for you plus a guest.
