FREE groceries with Kellogg’s rebate

by crystal on August 4, 2008

Did you get a $10 Kellogg’s rebate when you buy 10 products in Sunday’s newspaper insert? If so, there are lots of great ways you can use this rebate to actually get the products almost-free, free, or even earn money after the rebate.

I have not seen the rebate form yet myself (I’m on vacation right now!), but from what I’ve heard, you need to buy the products between August 5, 2008 and September 30, 2008. You’ll need to buy all of the Kellogg’s products in one transaction and send in your cash register receipt, plus proofs of purchase along with the rebate form.

At Wal-Mart (Thanks, Michelle!):

Buy 10 boxes of Eggos waffles at for $1.50 per box.
Use 5 coupons for $1/2 Eggo waffles from 08/03 insert.
$10 plus tax after coupons
Free (you pay tax and stamp costs only) after $10 rebate

Giant Eagle (Thanks, Marcy!):

Buy 10 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal at $2.50 each
Use printable coupons here and here or $1/2 coupons from 08/03 insert
Approx. $18 plus tax after coupons
$8 plus tax and stamp after rebate ($0.80/box!)
PLUS, if you do this deal by Wednesday, you’ll qualify for Giant Eagle fuel perks, thus furthering your savings! Read more here.

Kroger–Deal for TUESDAY ONLY in most states! (Thanks, Maryanne!):

Buy any combination of 10 of the following items: Kellogg’s Raisin Bran (20 oz.), Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats (8-count), Keebler Fudge (selected varieties), Eggos Waffles (10-count)–on sale $2.00 each
Use 5 $1/2 coupons from the 08/03 insert.
Get another $5 off your order for buying 10 participating items (current Buy 10, Get $5 promo going on through Tuesday in most states).
Spend $10 plus tax after coupons and promo.
FREE (you pay tax and stamp costs only) after coupons, promo, and rebate!

Did anyone else come up with some sweet deals for this Kellogg’s rebate? If so, leave them in the comments section.

Walgreens has a deal going to its on page on and three. Buy 4 Kellogs cereal get 5RR. OR Buy $10 of select kellogs items (you can mix and match) get 5RR! Send in for your rebate and this is a sweet deal!

2 Jess August 4, 2008 at 4:06 pm

Cub Foods has a coupon in their weekly flier for 5.00 off of your grocery order when you purchase 10 of the selected Kelloggs products. That combined with the coupons and rebate make it very cheap or free depending on which coupons you can get ahold of!

Here in New Mexico, Smith’s (a.k.a. Kroger’s) has some better prices for the Kellogg’s items. The cereal is on sale for $1/each, the Keebler cookies for $1.50/each, and the Eggo waffles for $1.50/each (all when you buy 10, of course). Making this an even better deal here!!

4 Holle August 4, 2008 at 4:19 pm

My plan is to use my Kellogg’s coupons at Walgreens:
(4) kids cereals minus (2) $1/2 coupons
(6) Pop Tarts minus (3) $1/2 coupons

Should total $17, then get back $5 RR for cereal (pg. 1), $5 RR for Pop Tarts (pg. 3)PLUS get the $10 rebate!

I got a great deal at Walgreens. This is what I wrote in my (private) blog…

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v70/gen_here/?action=view&current=DSC06903.jpg

I got all this stuff FREE. Okay, well, it comes out to free. Walgreens is running a sale where you buy certain groupings of things (4 cereals for $10, 4 bars for $10, 5 snacks/cookies for $10) and you get a $5 register reward for your purchase. This Sunday’s paper had a special coupon section from Kelloggs – full of coupons for $1 off 2 of certain products. Then if you buy 10 Kelloggs products, you can send in your receipt for a $10 rebate.

Now, as seems to be my luck with Walgreens, we had trouble with getting the register rewards to print out. SO I went through this whole thing with the manager of returning my order, buying it again (because he wouldn’t believe me when I said that I should just return two of those groups and buy them each separately), and still having difficulty with only getting 1 more register reward… so he gave me $5 cash. But here’s the breakdown…

2 Fruit Loops @ $2.50 each
2 Special K @ $2.50 each

2 Nutragrain bars @ $2.50 each
2 Special K bars @ $2.50 each

2 Rice Krispy treats @ $2 each
2 Pop Tarts @ $2 each
2 Fudge Stripe cookies @ $2 each
(this is one product more than needed for the register reward)
Total: $32.00

I had a $1 off coupon for each set above – or $7 in coupons

Total: $25.00

3, $5 register rewards
Total: $10.00

Mail in rebate for $10 off 10 Kelloggs products
Total: FREE!!!!

VERY IMPORTANT EDIT!!!!! If you decide to do this, you’ll have to go through and do the same fight that I did. Buy everything together on ONE receipt and then get the manager involved if your register rewards don’t print. One of the caveats of the $10 refund from Kelloggs is that all the products have to be purchased on ONE receipt!

my friend just told me about this one:
Publix has pop tart on bogo
buy ten boxes which is about 10.60
us 5 $1 off of two from this sundays paper and that makes your total way under the ten dollar rebate amount a money maker!

7 Jenn August 4, 2008 at 4:55 pm

I will do price matching at WalMart with prices from HyVee… Using a few printables and some $1/1 yogos coupouns there is a potential for a profit!

My whole shopping list is here: http://www.thecouponcoup.blogspot.com

Use the sunday coupons and combine with Rite Aid (buy $15 get $5 rebate) deal and the Kelloggs deal- all of my Kelloggs items cost me only $3!!!!

9 Elizabeth-The Whole Family August 4, 2008 at 5:45 pm

In NC we have Harris Teeter and they have Eggo Waffles on sale for $1.25 through Tues. That day only you can get 10 boxes of Eggos for $12.50. With the rebate you will get $10 back. Also, my sources tell me that if you buy 10 Kellogg’s products at Harris Teeter you get a $10 off Catalina on your receipt as well. So, potentially you could get 10 boxes of Eggos and MAKE $7.50 on this deal. Like I said, Tues only for the deals to overlap.

10 Cristy August 4, 2008 at 5:51 pm

Today at Publix I bought
2 Eggo Waffles (got 2 free),
2 Poptarts (got 2 free)and
1 Kelloggs Corn Pops Cereal (got 1 free) totalling 10 items on one receipt.

Then used the following coupons:
2 $1/2 Poptarts,
2 $1/2 Waffles, and
1 $1/2 Kellogg’s Cereals.

Total; $9.05 (this includes tax)

Hoping this will all qualify for the $10 back since I have never done a rebate before.

I know, “where have I been?” =)

I have a super sweet cvs deal at my blog.

10 boxes of rice krispies or poptarts or a combo for .90 total!

13 Kim August 4, 2008 at 6:05 pm

Publix in GA thru Tues the 5th:
Eggos and Kelloggs Frosted Mini Wheats are both BOGO. I plan to buy 8 boxes of Eggos and use 4 $1/2 coupons plus 2 boxes of Strawberry Mini Wheats and use 2 $1 off coupons from last months All You. I figure I will pay $6 plus tax and receive $10 back from the rebate. Plus, Kelloggs will contribute thru UPromise. The waffles will be great when school starts next week.

14 Jen August 4, 2008 at 6:27 pm

I plan on hitting my Kroger store, Smith’s tomorrow. They are still running the “$5 off of 10″ sale from last week making them $1 each. I’ve got $4 in coupons from the Sunday insert that I can use on them making them $6. After I send in the rebate, I’ll MAKE $4 minus the stamp:)

Oh, I did use the Special K coupons and the Smart Start coupons last night at Walgreen’s to do that deal, but it’s not as good as my Smith’s one!

15 Jen D August 4, 2008 at 6:32 pm

I did not see the $10 Kellogg’s rebate form in my Sunday inserts. Was is in the SS or RP inserts?

16 Satsuki August 4, 2008 at 6:53 pm

I used this rebate for the Walgreens Kellogs deal.

If you have the vocalpoint Special K mailer you can make money with this. I bought 4 boxes of cereal & 6 boxes of the bars. Then I used 8 of the $8 off Special K Vocalpoint coupons & the BOGO one they sent as well.

This got me 2 $5 Walgreens coupons. Then I’ll send in the rebate for an additional $10. This will get me a little over $5 for a profit.

17 Valerie August 4, 2008 at 7:15 pm

At this point, it may be moot to mention it, but the Kellogg’s rebate specifies the purchase must be made between August 5th and September 30, 2008, so anyone who jumped the gun won’t be eligible. (I’ve done this on things in the past, myself.)

18 S August 4, 2008 at 7:38 pm

Do you have to have the “hard copy” from the newspaper of the Kellogg’s rebate form in order to send it in? If not, could someone post the information needed to send in for the rebate, such as the address to send it in to, or any form that needs to be filled out? Thank you!

19 Genevieve August 4, 2008 at 7:47 pm

Nevermind. I’m new to this whole couponing thing and I messed up. I bought my cereal on Sunday – the 3rd. The rebate doesn’t start until the 5th. =(

20 Stacey August 4, 2008 at 8:17 pm

Does anyone know if the rebate form can be found elsewhere? My newspaper didn’t have the Kellogg’s form. Unfortunately, I did not notice this in time to check and see if the other semi-local paper had it. :-(

21 Shayleen August 4, 2008 at 8:28 pm

I like the Kroger deal, but since I’d rather have cereal than cookies, this is what I’ve come up with…
Walgreens:
2 Rainsin Bran, 2 nutrigrain granola bars, 2 smart start, 2 special k cereal, 2 pop tarts. All these things total $24. Use the five matching coupons bringing the total to $19. Walgreens will give you a $5 coupons to use on a future purchase. Now we’re down to $14. I actually have a $3 off $10 purchase at a new Walgreens that opened in our area and so now my total is $11…after the rebate, it’s all for $1!!! And it’s all stuff we normally eat!!!
(I also like the Walmart deal, but I can’t come up with five coupons!)

22 Melodie August 4, 2008 at 8:39 pm

Out here in the East, Shoprite is having a Kellogg’s deal: buy 8 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal (participating varieties) and get $5.00 on your next shopping trip. With the coupons that came with the rebate, plus a couple more boxes of qualifying Kellogg’s stuff for the rebate, this is a money maker! Yay!

23 Amanda August 4, 2008 at 9:18 pm

Some customers have had problems with the rebate because it does not begin until August 5th. According to http://www.slickdeals.net, Kellog’s has changed the start date of the promotion to August 2nd, due to the overwelming number of calls and complaints. If you (like me) purchased your items early, don’t stress! You will not need to send a note or call corporate. You may send the rebate items in and expect your rebate check with no problems. For mroe info, check out http://www.slickdeals.net. Look under forums and choose grocery store/drug stores.

24 Amanda August 4, 2008 at 9:20 pm

At Publix, Poptarts and BOGO. With the coupon, I purchased 10 boxes for $0.60 each. With the rebate, this is a great money maker!

25 Amanda August 4, 2008 at 9:24 pm

Separate from the Kellog’s rebate, BiLo has their own Kellogg’s rebate. Buy 8 items and receive a $10 gas card. I bought 8 boxes of Eggos for $1.50 and used 5 $1 off 2 coupons. I spent $8 on Eggos and will receive a $10 gas card.

The rebate form prints from the catalina machine when you scan the products and your BiLo card. The form does not require UPC’s or the receipts. This rebate could be done with the Kelloggs rebate if you purchased 10 items in one transaction!

26 Lorelei August 4, 2008 at 9:24 pm

I plan to do the Walgreens deal too. I don’t have a pic yet since I won’t go until Tuesday so I can take advantage of the $10 rebate too!!

27 Hannelore August 4, 2008 at 9:26 pm

At Walgreens I got 6 boxes of cereal, 4 boxes of pop tarts, and two boxes of Cheeze
Its for $4 after rebates and coupons!
Then at CVS I got things which rang up to $89 (gasp!) and ended up “making” $6.50 after ecbs and a rebate! I was happy to find the scrubbing bubbles automatic shower cleaner kits clearanced 75% to $6.25 each and then I $5 coupon. Merry Christmas Mom!

28 lynne August 4, 2008 at 9:57 pm

Stink. I used the BOGO on many kellogs today at Publix using those great coupons from yesterday. Just noticed register receipt has to be dated Aug. 5th, NOT today, the 4th. :(

29 Rae August 4, 2008 at 10:14 pm

If you are willing to give up variety and just get Special K products, you can use the coupons that Vocal Point sent out a while back at Walgreens and have a big money maker. Special K (or the one with berries) 4/$10 and Special K bars 4/$10. Get 2 extra items at $2.50 (either the bars or cereal). So it will be $25 plus $10 back in RR. We’re down to $15. Then use all 10 $1/1 Special K coupons bringing the total down to $5 then send in for the $10 rebate. Now if you have the 1 BOGO coupon that also came with the Vocal Point coupons, it will be $5.50 profit instead of $5.

30 Brennan August 4, 2008 at 10:36 pm

Hi

This is my first post – so I want to start by thanking all of you for helping me save money.

Second, and more important, I also went and bought all the Kelloggs products at Walgreens yesterday (the 3rd). Same deal as everyone else – so no news there. I also did not catch that the rebate does not start until the 5th. So, today, I called Kelloggs and explained to them that I had already bought 10 items, cut out all the UPCs and thus could not simply return the items and thus, asked them to please accept the rebate anyway. I was told that they would accept the rebate and given a case number. I was also told that if I got a letter rejecting my rebate I should just call them with the case number and they would send me a check. I know that others have said that the rebate date has been changed – but I just wanted to be sure and feel a lot better with a case number.

Hope this helps – Brennan

31 Lissa August 4, 2008 at 11:05 pm

I have not posted my items up on my blog yet but here they are for you guys!
Publix
eggo waffles are bogo
kellogg pop tarts are also bogo

I purchased in 2 different transactions to get 2 sets of rebates to send off!

#1
10 pop tarts @2.19 for each set of 2
Total was 10.95 plus tax
Used 5 $1/2 Kelloggs coupons from Sunday’s inserts (This made the regular priced $2.19 per box pop tarts 60 cents each
New Total: $5.95 plus tax
I paid $6.12 for 10 boxes of pop tarts (that will last me at least 6 months) and will send off for the $10 rebate for a profit or overage of $3.88!

#2
10 boxes of Eggo Waffles on sale BOGO @$2.19 for 2 also
I used the same scenario as above. There were the $1/2 coupons in this past Sundays paper and after tax I paid $6.12. I will get the second rebate sent to my mother in her name! She lives 2 1/2 hours away from me so what I have her do is collect all of the rebates that are sent to her each month and I have her go to Kroger and buy a gift card for me. She shops there regularly and it isn’t out of the way. Yes, she has to keep up with them but she doesn’t mind! We usually see each other once or twice a month and she just gives them to me then! This is a great idea for those of you who are into redeeming rebates. If you have a family member who lives in town with you this would be a fantastic way of buying two of the same product and doubling or trippling your rebate money! Everything is legit because the rebates are limited to one per person per household. I always have about a good $50 in rebates rolling around each month…sometimes even more. For example…let’s say you found $30 worth of products that have full money back rebates on them. You would come out of pocket that first $30 but never have to spend a dime again. You would roll it over like you do CVS Extra Care Bucks/Rite Aid Single Check Rebates/or Walgreens rebates and register rewards. The next month you would buy another $30 worth of products in rebates but pay for them with the $30 from the prior month! I am using $30 as a hypathetical number…the amount will vary from month to month! I hope this Publix and rebate information helps someone out! I love to bargain shop! Can’t you tell???

32 Amanda August 5, 2008 at 7:16 am

I took my Kroger ad to Meijer for an ad match. I bought 10 of the Keebler cookies and Rice Krispy Bars for $1.50 each and used 2-$1.00 off coupons (now I’m at $13.00). Meijer then gave me $10 towards the purchas of a new backpack and then I got the Kellogg’s $10 rebate. I just wish I’d had more of those coupons.

33 Rachel August 5, 2008 at 7:53 am

I got several copies of the Sunday paper and I swear I didn’t see that insert in there. I live in Florida. Has anyone else noticed this??

34 Jessica Waggoner August 5, 2008 at 8:27 am

I will taking advantage of the deal at Walgreen’s.

I have a scenario for beginner’s at my blog if anyone is interested!

I personally will be using the Vocal Point q’s from a while back and the coupons from Sunday’s insert.

35 tracy August 5, 2008 at 9:45 am

I bought 10 boxes of special k cereal, its my favorite. Anyways at walgreens they were 4 for 10 and get $5 RR. I had 9 $1 off coupons and 1 bogo coupon. Before coupons total $25.00
after 13.50 got $10 RR Total paid 3.50 and then get $10.00 mail in rebate.

36 Holly August 5, 2008 at 10:02 am

Where do I find the Kellogg rebate form? I did not receive any coupons either in my newspaper on 8/3…help?

37 Amy August 5, 2008 at 1:29 pm

I did the Walgreen’s deal this morning. I had the Vocal Point coupons and insert coupons.
I got -
4 boxes Special K cereal
4 boxes Special K cereal bars
2 boxes of Nutrigrain bars
Total was $17.00 after coupons
I got 2-$5 RRs back
AND get $10 rebate.
I will end up making $3!!!

I plan to use one of the RRs to get in on the Axe Movie Deal!

38 Ann August 5, 2008 at 2:34 pm

I posted my Kroger transaction on my blog–http://morequestionsthana.blogspot.com/2008/08/bargain-hunting-lots-of-groceries-for.html It was basically the Kroger deal you described, except I got mini-wheats and nutrigrain bars instead of eggos and Special K products, because those are things my family loves. So not freebies, but good enough!

39 brandy August 5, 2008 at 3:20 pm

I’m new to the whole Walgreens thing…can someone tell me if you buy 10 (or however many needed) Kellogs items on the RR sale, will 2 RR print for one order? I know for the rebate it has to be on the same receipt but i didn’t know if you could get two RR on one receipt…

40 Chastity August 5, 2008 at 3:49 pm

I have noticed that many of suggestions assume that we have many copies of the newspaper coupons. Most people only buy one paper. Do you all ask friends for their extra coupons?

41 Sheila August 5, 2008 at 4:18 pm

No Kellogg insert here in Florida either. :(

42 jenni williams August 5, 2008 at 8:45 pm

i am in fla and got the kellogs insert.i purchased 2 papers this week. i also have a buddy on freecycle who gives me her insert, and my dh gets some from his friends at work. i have five all together this week. i got a ton at cvs this week! i cant wait to go to publix tomorow!

43 Mike August 5, 2008 at 9:45 pm

I had trouble with the walgreens deal. I bought 14 items and I only received one $5 RR. When I talked to the manager he said that if I used mfg coupons I would not receive the register reward. He also said that I could only receive one $5 RR per transaction. Anyone else get more than one RR in the same transaction?

44 Francis August 5, 2008 at 9:53 pm

I was able to get two rapid rewards with one transaction, one for the cereal deal and one for the snacks but was told that I could not get three. The way it is published in the ad it looks like you should be able to get three but the manager told me if I wanted three I had to do them in three separate purchases which won’t work for the rebate.

45 Heather Hart August 6, 2008 at 1:39 am

Schnucks in Southern Indiana

4 Special K bars @ 2.50 each (10.00)
6 Pop-tarts @ 3 for 5.00 (I got one on clearance though for 1.49) (9.82)
Total 19.82
I used B1G1 (Vocalpoint) and 3 $1 off for Special K.
I used 3 $1/2 for Pop-Tarts.
Total coupons 8.50
19.82-8.50=11.32-10 rebate = 1.32 or .13 each!

46 pheobie August 6, 2008 at 10:18 am

I used this rebate with the Kroger deal that ended yesterday. However, I have an extra form and coupons to give away at my blog. Thanks for your blog, I read it often.

48 Courtney August 6, 2008 at 3:28 pm

I just wanted to clarify some rules for the Kellogg’s rebate since there seems to be confusion in these comments. Here’s the rebate “rules”:

Limit ONE request per address or household. No PO BOXes allowed – only street or rual route addresses are acceptable. Fraudulent submissions could result in federal prosecution under the US Mail Fraud Statues. Not responsible for postage due, lost, late, misdirected, illegible or undelivered responses. Duplicate submissions will be disreguarded and will not receive a response. This form must accompany your request and may not be reproduced. Please allow up to 8 weeks to receive a rebate check. Offer good only in the USA. Offer not good in rebate clubs.
ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE PURCHASED IN A SINGLE TRANSACTION ON ONE STORE RECEIPT!
To receive a $10 rebate check, complete and mail this official form with the required original UPC symbols along with original dated Cash Register Receipt dated between 08/05/08 and 09/30/08 with the qualifying products circled (photo copies not accepted). LIMIT ONE $10 REBATE PER ADDRESS OR HOUSEHOLD. Request must be postmarked by 09/30/08 and received by 10/11/08.

Hope that doesn’t screw anyone up. If it does, try calling Kellogg’s and pleading your case to get your rebate anyway. Good luck!

49 Jane S. August 6, 2008 at 5:12 pm

If you live in the Northwest where we have Top Food & Drug stores they are offering a $20.00 voucher for your next purchase when you spend $20.00 on all of the same products listed in the insert. This plus coupons and you have an amazing deal.

50 Rae August 6, 2008 at 6:45 pm

I went to Walgreens on Sunday to do the RR deal w/o the rebate because it still came to $2 after everything for 4 boxes of special K and 4 boxes of Special K bars ($.25/ box not bad). Then I went Wed. again so that I could get the rebate. Now here is some info on the Walgreens deals:

The “snacks” deal and the “snacks and cookies” deal are ONE offer. If you buy both of those you will NOT get 2 RR coupons. However, like I mentioned before on my Sunday deal, you CAN do either the “snacks” OR “snacks and cookies” AND the cereal and still buy 10 items on one transaction to get $10 RR back and be able to do the rebate. I tried doing the snacks and the “snacks and cookies” and it didn’t work after a few tries but the manager let me keep of the original RR from the cancelled order since she couldn’t make it work but now I know that they are considered the same deal.

About the coupons (somebody asked how to get so many), I buy the double pack of the Sunday paper at Walmart for $2 (would be more if bought separately)… other areas it is cheaper but it’s expensive around here. So I get two sets. But as far as the Special K coupons, Vocal Point sent out an envelope with a BOGO coupon and 10 (I think it was 10) $1 off coupons. If you are not a member with them, I would join. They send out coupons from different sponsors every once in a while and sometimes samples. They do it automatically to their members, you do not have to sign up for individual offers. Anyway, even if you just have one paper though, the Kelloggs insert from this weeks paper had a whole bunch of coupons that were $1/2 for different products. It would be more than enough to do the deals you just wouldn’t be getting more than 2 of the same product.

51 Debbie August 6, 2008 at 8:07 pm

Did anyone in the Philadelphia~Allentown region get the Kelloggs insert? I checked a couple of different Sunday papers, and nothing!

52 Trinity August 6, 2008 at 8:44 pm

I am in Florida and got the Kellogg’s flyer so I did the deal at Walgreens since they have the deal when you buy 4 or 5 with $5 RR. But here is the deal… for the rebate you need all 10 to print out on one receipt but if you do that then you only get one RR as it is one per customer for the Kelloggs deal at Walgreens of any combination of items. But if you are very lucky a manager can do either a return of 2 sets of 4 or 5 items (depending on items) and then re-ring them separately to get the rr’s….or they can mark down the items by $5 for each group. I went to two different stores and the managers in each store did so for me and were absolutely wonderful.

I totally scored big time this week as I have had these Kellogg’s coupons I had before that I got in the mail:

buy 3 kelloggs items get $5 off
4 ” $7 off
5 ” $10 off

So I used these in conjunction with the sunday coupons, my RR’s from before, a gc I got from store manger for $20 for past problem and did this.

4 boxes of cereal
2 special k bars
2 nutrigran bars
2 rk treats
2 pop tarts
2 fudge cookies

total before coupons about $30

used $7 sunay paper coupons
used $22 in mail coupons
used $1 on GC

total oop $0

Manager re-rang two sets and I got $15 in RR

Then I have the rebate for $10

So I made $25 on this first deal ad did it one more time at another Walgreens and then at Publix. The other rebates will be sent to my mom and sister. Course the deal wasnt AS sweet as the first time since I didnt have anymore of the mail coupons but it was still great as I made $$ on the other two times.

This was a great week for coupons!!

I also did my monthly shopping at Publix the other day and saved $197!!!!WOOT!!!

It was awesome and I had so many mom’s coming to me for advice!!LOL

Thanks to those who posted the deal at Publix, I went and did great!

I got 4 boxes of Ego’s BOGO (2.19 x 2)
and…6 boxes of Poptarts BOGO (2.19 X 2)
Came to just about $11 without coupons
Then I used 5 x $1.00 coupons
For a total of $6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Send in the 10 upcs and receipt for a $10 rebate.
That is a $4.00 profit

Of course that was not all i bought cuz i had a $5/30 coupon to sweeten the deal. I got my total up to $30 before coupons so I could use a $5/30 publix coupon. So the total went down to $25.
Then i handed the cashier my stack of coupons and my grand total was $14.78 (including the rebate items)
Now I send in for the $10 rebate and I only spent $4.78
I got in addition to the rebate items:
4 boxes of stoffers french bread pizza
2 bottles V8 splash
3 bottles of publix soda
1.5 lb grapes
8oz box baby portabella mushrooms
1 large bottle of Poweraid
2 boxes barilla spaghetti
1 can planters cashews

Thanks for all your posts guys!

No Kellogg’s insert in my paper either :(

This is not related to Kellogg’s deal, but is related to grocery store deals. This week at Kroger the Pillsbury crescent rolls, pizza dough and bread sticks are on sale for $1. In Sunday’s paper (this week or last) there was a big half-page feature of coupons for Pillsbury items. Most relevant were several coupons for .35 off the above products-after the coupons are doubled the products are .30 each

I just blogged my deal for Walgreens. It’s all stuff we’ll eat, so I’m happy! Thanks for the ideas!

I got a great deal on 4 boxes of cereal and 6 boxes of snacks at Walgreens! I used $1 off 2 munfacturer coupons for all of the items (a total of $5 off). I spent about $18, got 2 $5 Register Rewards back (the manager had to re-ring and then void out one of the transactions so I could have both RR on one receipt), and will get the $10 Rebate check. $2 profit! Yeah! (Doing a happy dance…) :)
