CVS: Did you get your free gift?

Since CVS hasn’t given us enough free stuff (ha!), they decided they’d give out more free gifts in August.

According to this page on their site, the first time you use your CVS card on a purchase in August, a coupon for a free gift will print at the bottom of your receipt.

So, what’d you get?

We don’t use mouthwash, but I gave one away already to our out of town guests this weekend! The other will go in a donation box. Please don’t complain if you get a free item, just smile and be thankful that you now have something to bless someone else with!
Dona August 3, 2008 at 4:49 pm: I got the cvs brand ibuprofen. I also bought the children’s advil for 5.79 get 5.79 back–my reciept does not say -offer limit reached–it says I can still get another one—so the limit must be 2 not 1 this month!

Bet your free aspirin is lookin’ pretty good now, huh? I’ll email customer service and probably get a good coupon out of it though.

Unfortunately it was my last ever trip there on the way out of the state moving to CO (land of the no CVS *pout*) I didn’t even realize there WAS a gift until after I left the store. What a bummer! That totally would have been the perfect way to leave the store that has given me so much in only 4 months!

Jackie August 11, 2008 at 9:54 am: I received a free bottle of cvs brand mouth wash!!!! This is great because my husband uses mouth wash at work before meetings. Guess what he just ran out the other day, so now he has a free bottle to take to work with him!!! I love free stuff!
