Crystal:

I thank you for posting the deals that I use weekly CVS, Riteaid, and Walmart. I have to admit something, when I go on coupon sites or sometimes even other couponers blogs I get really confused. It must be you simple layout that does not confuse me.

In turn I save my family more money gratefully because of this.

I was wondering if you have the recent printable link to the dove candy. I love the dove dark chocolate and it’s my special treat.

Crystal I also wanted to share a personal walk that I recently admitting on my blog.Today will be my first walk in a church service since 2001.

Is the Pert Plus BOGO deal running again for a second week? I’m not seeing it in the ad? I was able to get a raincheck yesterday, but he only would write it for a qty of 2 (not should if I will be able to get more of not)….maybe that is what you are using?

I went to CVS last night and got Cover Girl make up. I had several coupons and, since my DIL’s Birthday is coming up, I took her with me. Altogether I got $190.00 worth of make up ( along with 5 .19 cent items) and spent $12.00 OOP. I gave 1/2 to DIL for birthday! The make up might not make me look better but the smile I will carry because of it will help!

Can anyone tell me where to find the printable coupon for Dove chocolate? Or where I can find a Red Plum insert? I’m having trouble finding the coupon anywhere …

7 Crystal August 10, 2008 at 10:10 am

If you are like me and already printed and used the Colgate Total coupon and are prevented from printing another, enter the sweepstakes for the spa getaway on the Colgate site, play the instant win game, and then click on more offers. You will be able to print another $1.50 off coupon.

The candy deal has not been reset from the deal two weeks ago. So don’t count on more ECB if you already maxed it out before!

13 erin August 10, 2008 at 4:02 pm

does cvs accept competitor coupons (specifically walgreens)?

14 Jennie Atnip August 10, 2008 at 4:22 pm

I didnt have to buy groceries or anything this week! Thanks Money saving MOM! I have a bunch of q’s if anyone wants them just click my name.

15 jenni williams August 10, 2008 at 7:52 pm

I am sure most of you know this but for the newbies like me.. If you scan your CVS card on those little machines at every visit it it has been printing out $1/1 for cvs brand sunscreen. they can be used with this sale! I scored 3- 2.19 and 1- 4.29 for just $2!!

16 Chelsea August 10, 2008 at 8:55 pm

Does anyone know where I can find $1.50 off Hershey’s Bliss or a 2 for 1?

17 Leticia August 10, 2008 at 10:28 pm

Thanks for posting great deals each week!

18 Kimberly August 10, 2008 at 11:36 pm

I feel like I shopped like mad today… hehe

19 Carey August 11, 2008 at 8:04 am

Just a little side note…When i was in cvs the other day, while being rung up,the conversation between the cashier and manager on duty was about how they have to ring up manufacturer coupons first now, since they are having trouble with cvs coupons. I told her it was fine as long as i was still able to use my cvs coupons(i had a 5/10 coupon). I dont know if this will be a new practice, but its one i never ran into before.

20 Deanna August 11, 2008 at 8:23 am

Has anyone tried the Children’s Advil deal and bought 2? I was thinking you could use the 2$/10 printable and 2 1$ printables. But if you get a 2nd ECB if you break it into 2 transactions, I’d do that instead. Anyone already done it??

21 jenni williams August 11, 2008 at 8:33 am

I broke the advil deal into two transactions, i have not mananged to roll enough ECBs to do it at once, but i did use the coupon on both and made a dollar on each!

22 Karen August 11, 2008 at 8:42 am

What is a CRT???

23 Shannon August 11, 2008 at 12:45 pm

Thanks for all your extra effort on the CVS deal posts — I usually find at least one deal idea I have missed!

24 Tricia August 11, 2008 at 3:38 pm

Thanks so much for all the info. you post, it is so helpful! I was wondering where you get the beaty booklet you refered to. I went to two CVS stores and no one knew what it was. Is it called the beauty booklet or does it have another name?? Thanks so much!!

Thank you also for sharing with us how we can increase our blog traffic. I’m working on that.
So sorry to hear about your meat. What a bummer!

I had over $25 worth of baby items broken up into 3 transactions but didn’t get my $5 ecb. I got 2 pullups, 2 wipes, 6 johnson buddies, and a baby care pack. Do you only get the ecb when it’s in one transactions? Should I go back in and ask to see the mgr? This is only my 2nd trip to CVS so I could’ve done something wrong.

27 Linda August 12, 2008 at 8:33 am

I bought Children’s advil a second time last night. I didn’t get the ecbs for the second deal. I am hoping to return it later this week.

Also my lamisil rang up 10.49, however there was a coupon for 2.00 off on the boxes, so it wasn’t too bad anyway. We needed some too, so it wasn’t just bought as a money maker.

I love your site. I know of at least 3 people that regularly use your site on my recommendation (so far!)

1) CVS does not have a specific policy on competitors coupons. It is at the store and even managers discretion. At my CVS one manager will let me and another won’t. The one that will told me there is no policy, but they will allow it sometimes. He let me for candy!

2) I did the Advil deal twice paired with other items and used the $2/$10 and it did give me two sets of ECBs. I didn’t use the $1 off Advil, I used a $2 off Advil 20 ct that I found in the 7-13 redplum and it took! My CVS is so nice, they will scan anything to see if it works.

3) Johnson and Johnson buddies does NOT count towards the baby deal. I tried and it’s a no go.

4) My ad has an energizer battery deal…buy $15 get 5 ECBs. Does anyone know where I can find coupons?

29 Janice August 12, 2008 at 1:12 pm

This newbie was disappointed today when my CVS would not allow me to use two of the BOGO Dove chocolate coupons, even though I was purchasing 4 bags of the Dove . Oh well, I turned around and bought two more bags; used the DOVE bogo coupon that they wouldn’t let me use on the first transaction plus a 3.00 ECB and got those two bags totally free- not even any tax. All in all for today, I received 59.90 worth of products and paid 15.99 oop. A savings of 43.91! Thanks for your site as well as the other links on here. I am learning alot and impressing my DH big time:)

30 Janice August 12, 2008 at 1:37 pm

CVS emailed me today with a $4/20 coupon. Can I print this emailed coupon more than one time or is it a one time only deal? Does anyone know? Thanks

31 Karen August 13, 2008 at 1:55 pm

This is concerning the One Touch Glucose monitors from CVS a couple of weeks back. I lost my rebate information. Does anyone have the paper that came out of the coupon booklets?? I have my receipt, but not the paperwork…arghhhhhh!

Thanks Crystal for all you do to help us save money~

Did you all get the information from Chick-fil-a in the Birmingham, Alabama area??? Check out the deal at my blog!

I have heard that this same offer will be nationwide on Labor Day …ALL DAY!
