I went to RiteAid Yesterday 8/5 and this is what I snagged:
Cutter Skinsations 6oz on sale for $3.99 with a $2 rebate = $1.99
GE Soft Longlife bulbs 2 pk 100wt $2 Free After $2 rebate
Olay Age Defiying Cleanser on Sale $7.99 FAR
Charles Worthington Results Shampoo on sale for $4.99 FAR and came with a free leave in treatment attached to the bottle. Double Freebie!!!
Gillette mens shampoo on sale for $4.49 FAR
Plus I had a $1 off coupon.
Revlon Nail polish on sale $2.99 FAR
RENU twin pack on sale $9.99 FAR
Total- $37.72
Used a Rebate check of $48.90 and got $11.18 CASH back, yes I said CASH back. They weren't sure how they were going to give me the rest back but it ended up as cash WooHOO!! I got $34.50 rebate back to boot. That was the best steal at RiteAid I got because I spent no out of pocket so I just had to post. I also brought in one my resuable bags to Go Green. I will try to remember that from now on.

I was wondering about the Red Plum coupons. Where I live the Red Plum comes in the mail on Wednesdays and it typically only has store ads. Is there another Red Plum that I'm missing?

Thanks for all the great info! I'm in awe of you and your readers!!

It seems the stores here in Northeast, Ohio process our rebates and coupons differently then other places around the country....I have been using the Moneysaving Mom website and couponing approach since May,09, but can only get half or so of the "deals" to work. For example the Garnier Hydra Curls Shampoo or Conditioner -- $2.99. They will not remimburse me for the coupon portion of the purchase. So I will not get the "overage". I will only be refunded the amount that I paid after using the coupon, $1.99......Am I doing something wrong? How do you get the rebates to reimburse you for money that you never spent? Thanks for any input you can give me.

The garnier deal is sweeter if you grab a Beauty the RA Way from the front of the store (free with Penelope Cruz on the front) and use a $1/1 Garnier q. They expire 7/31/08 so you have to hurry.

Don't forget the Crest and OralB deals! Crest ProHealth Rinse is on sale 3/$15 with a $10 SCR, making it $5 for 3 (or $1.67 for each liter of mouthwash). That's a great deal by itself, but you can also use 3 $1/1 coupons from this month's P&G BrandSaver (exp. 7-31). So, that's $2 plus tax for 3 bottles! (GREAT deal for this brand of mouthwash!) Also, OralB CrossAction Power toothbrushes are on sale 3/$18. I got four of them and used two BOGO coupons (also exp. 7-31), making them $12 - with a $10 SCR! That's $2 for four power toothbrushes! :-)

Hey - just found your blog last week and I love it! I have been shopping at CVS & Rite Aid for some time and always tried to find the best deals but after reading your posts and other's comments on this site, it has opened up a whole new world to me. Thanks!
