I’ve received multiple emails from people around the country saying that their JCPenney stores are having huge clearance sales on children’s Summer clothing. Many are reporting there are a number of items for $1.97 each!
If you are going to be in the vicinity of a JCPenney store in the next few days and are in need of children’s clothing for this year or next, you’ll definitely want to stop by!

I was at Target yesterday and they have kids’ shoes on clearance. I saw shoes marked at low as $1.97.
I got a short sleeve button down shirt that came with a matching t-shirt for my son for $1.97 at JC Penney! I wasn’t really looking for something but at that price, I couldn’t resist!

Ive just come back from JC and bought like 20 different sets for $60 and my receips show that ive saved $524!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Children’s Place is also having clearance sales. I’ve ordered quite a few things off of their website (shipping is just $5) and have purchased stuff in the store too. There was a 15% coupon code that worked this weekend FA78.
My jcpenney had ONLY okie dokie summer stuff on sale for 1.97. I bought some for my son to use this year and stocked up on some for next year for 1.67 a piece. They were on sale for 1.97 but got it for 1.67 when I used the 15% off coupon I had by filling the survey from my last purchase.
Thanks for posting this! I just went and bought 19 items for $47. There were four racks of organized clothes for $1.97 and five racks of things for $2.97.
This is the BEST time of year to shop for clothes as stores make room for Fall items.
My store had Okie Dokie toddler summer clothes marked down to $1.97. I stocked up for next year. Also Children’s place is having a big sale but you can’t beat $1.97!
I got a pair of girls jeans marked down from $21.99!
I went tonight and got 9 items for $26, a savings of $233! Women’s and men’s didn’t have any 75% off racks, but if you look closely at some of the 60% off racks, some of the items have green tags (75% off). I got 2 blouses and a short sleeve suiting jacket for work for $2.97 each!
One of the sales people said there are rumors that everything currently marked as 60% off will go to 75% off this weekend (of course, a lot of the items are $1.97 and $2.97, which is 94% off in some cases!)
I just went ther yesterday. There are some clothes marked as $6.99 but the cashier gave it to me for $1.97. I haven’t seen the shoes section though. Ihave to go and check it out too..
My MIL used to work at JCP and she told me that once something hits the sales rack and the price ends in .97 (be it .97, 1.97, 2.97…etc) that is the *last* markdown they’ll make on it. So, now is the time to snap it up!
