We had our date for cheesecake! Actually, I didn’t tell my husband where we were going, just to drive! It was a surprise for him. Even though we had to wait at our table for 45 minutes (!) just for cheesecake, I’d say we both thought it was worth it! We sat and drank water and had nice conversation while we waited.

Don’t take your kids! We are in Nashville and the wait was 40-55 minutes at 1:00. Then, we ordered our food including the cheesecake, waited 10 minutes for drinks and 30 minutes for the food. There were 3 of us–we got one set of silverware and no drink refills. The cheesecake hadn’t arrived an hour after we sat down–outside to not have the longest wait. I found someone to get it ready and bag it up and we left 1.5 hours after we sat down. I would call it sweating for cheesecake. The kids were hot, tired, and thirsty. I should have just bought the Target or Sam’s Cheesecake Factory specials. If you are adults that can talk and eat leisurely–go. Kids under 30–they really aren’t at their usual customer service level. :)

I took my kids today. They gave my baby a baby plate with sliced bananas and bread, for free. We waited maybe 10 minutes for the cheescake and 30 minutes to get a table. I never get dessert at restaurants so it was a great treat for me.

We hadn’t read the “eat in” only part and our cheesecake factory told us only one per party! So, we left and bought 2 pieces of cheesecake at Walmart for $2.50 (saved ourselves .50 cents, the tip and disappointment) and enjoyed our treat at the park. :)

My husband and I enjoyed an inexpensive lunch out and then headed over for cheesecake. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but it was worth it! We really enjoyed our time out together and our bill at Cheesecake Factory was $3.20. Unheard of! :) I had the Godiva Chocolate cheesecake…simply amazing, particularly in my pregnant state. :D

There was a line out the door at the one here in Tigard it was so worth it – hubby met us there for dinner too so no cooking tonight! Yay! They let us take ours to go – TOO BAD they fogot my 5 year old’s slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake. He was devastated, but he wouldn’t have eaten it anyway (so that saves me a couple hours at the gym tomorrow, right? Ditto on the not-so-kid-friendly comments. How do you not have a kid menu or even crayons for goodness sake – our CF is in a huge mall!

took us 1/2 hour for our table, then we had to wait another 25 min for service…my 18 month old was preocc with the sugars, salt and pepper shaker, utensils, and the small girl in the booth behind us. We ordered food-lunch salad and cali omelet. then 3 cheescakes (one for me, hubby, and son…which technically would end up being mine..) we were stuffed after our meal, so we asked to bag the cheesecake, the waiter told us that it had to be taken to the table first and then we had to req the boxes and pack it ourselves, since this was a dine-in deal only. but all in all, 30$ at the c.f for a nice meal, plus my son was amazing during the whole 1.25 hours.

Wow, I had a celebrity sighting yesterday at Cheesecake Factory. I saw “The Crystal Paine” and family sitting at a table across the room from us. I wasn’t sure at first, but seeing the two girls and her husband confirmed it. I felt kind of silly, but ventured over to their table and let them know that she was famous… :)

We arrived at 4:30 sat at the bar and ate from the bar menu. We had pot stickers, egg rolls, quesidillas and 2 slices of cheesecake and our bill was $16.25. It is a sweet day when 2 people can dine at TCF for $20 total! We followed it up with a free movie (courtesy of General Mills & Publix).
Great fun for $10 per person.
