CVS: Free Revlon and more!

by crystal on July 21, 2008

Note: I had originally posted here about free Wet Ones at CVS–the reader who had sent that deal in wrote back to say that they had miscommunicated. The deal was at a local grocery store, not CVS. My apologies on that!

Revlon Make-up is on sale B1G1 this week, with prices starting at
$3.49. There were coupons in a recent insert for $2/1 Revlon product.

Use two of these on a product which is $3.99 or less and get both free!
Also, there is a $3/1 Revlon CRT floating around which could further
maximize your savings! (Thanks, Michelle!)

A few people have mentioned finding $6/1 or $5/1 Physicians Formula coupons at their Walgreens’ stores on tearpads. If you are able to find these, you may be able to get the Physicians Formula organic deal (buy $10, Get $5 ECBs) for free or almost free after ECBs!

CVS also has a deal running this week where if you purchase $10 worth of any VEET hair removal products, you get $5 ECBs. You can get a $2/1 VEET coupon here. Combined with the ECB deal, this could make for almost-free product! (Thanks, Cheryl!)

I have a question regarding coupons. For eg, the wet ones coupons. Will CVS accept 2 coupons when coupons always say “not valid with other offer” or something…?Do you just print 2 of them and give them at cashier?

Can someone explain to me how you actually use your ECB’s once you have obtained them? I understand how you get them but when you want to use them do you just turn in the bottom portion of your receipt as a coupon? I am making my first trip to CVS today. I just need to know once I get the ECB’s how I redeem them. Thanks and I excited about shopping at CVS because I have never shopped there before.

Is Wet Ones a regional deal? I can’t see it in my paper (I’m in MD) or am I missing it?

Thanks!

You can get a free 64ct of huggies wipes by filling out the form here: http://marthababysteps.com/reqform.php

I got this freebie from printable-coupons.blogspot so i trust that it is a working freebie

Hi Julie, once your ECBs print out you just tear that portion off (it will have dotted lines) and use it just like cash on your next order.

Our CVS has Veet starters for $8.49 …. but in another spot in the store they had the starters with a “freebie” refill attached to the kit…that is an extra $4.59 of free product!!

Ann,
When redeeming your CVS ECBs, you should make sure to use all your store and manufacturer’s coupons first and wait for the subtotal, then give the ECBs to the cashier just like a cash payment. If there is a balance remaining, you can pay in whatever form you like after that.
Just remember that CVS will not give you “change” back from your ECBs, so use them wisely and try to work your deal so that there is a small OOP or “out of pocket” left to pay at the end of each transaction.
Good luck, Carol Ann

on the Veet products… at my CVS the veet products are all 8.99, 9.99 or 4.99 each, so there isn’t any way to get over $10 without going to almost $14. so no *free* products for me. I will be checking another local cvs today to see if they might have some other veet items.

Hi! I was noticing on the site about the BOGO on Revlon cosmetics. However, I cannot seem to find this Revlon coupon mentioned in the CVS circular and on this site. Can someone tell me where the coupon is located in the Sunday paper??

Thanks for the help with my ECB question!

I have some Physicians Formula $6 coupons (that I picked up at Rite Aid), which I was going to use at CVS, but I read the fine print which specifically excludes the Organic Wear. I just wanted to give a heads up before anyone goes running out for this stuff…read the fine print first!

I have another question. If I have two coupons for B1G1 on the Trident. Can I use both of the coupons at the same time and get four packs of gum and 2 ECB’s. Me and my friend were talking and we didn’t know if you could use multiple B1G1 coupons in one transaction. Thanks!

Revlon BOGO – On the front page of the circular it has BOGO on Revlon “lipcolor, nail enamel, or eye”

15 Laura July 21, 2008 at 3:03 pm

I thought there was some type of Revlon coupon that you could use on top of getting the BOGO that would maximize your savings!

16 Michelle July 21, 2008 at 4:31 pm

I believe the Revlon $2 coupon was just in this past Sunday’s SS. (Mine has a Red Lobster coupon on the front.) The coupon is “on any Revlon Color Cosmetic Product”. All of the pictures show Revlon ColorStay so not sure if that’s what it means. I’m not familiar with Revlon products.

With the Clear Care rebate, Can I print it straight from your link provided to be valid? Is there another place that I need to find it to make sure the offer works?

18 Leslie July 21, 2008 at 8:34 pm

What is the tearpad? I’ve never seen coupons anywhere in CVS. :(

19 kayla July 21, 2008 at 9:36 pm

Hey Julia…..I purchased ten backs of the Trident…..used 5 Bogo coupons….paid 33 cent and got 5 ECB….YEA!!!!

20 Briana July 21, 2008 at 9:39 pm

I have the smartsource insert with the red lobster coupons on the front, but I did not get that revlon coupon. :(

21 Stacy July 22, 2008 at 12:40 am

On the Veet at CVS, as far as I know, there are no other prices than the 4.99, 8.99 and more. I actually bought two of the 4.99 products, then when I realized I didn’t get the 5 ECBs back, I talked to the manager and he was very helpful. He tried to add one cent to each item, didn’t work. So, he used an extra $5 coupon since he didn’t think we should have to pay more to get the bucks when it’s only a penny off, and I ended up with $5 cash from his register! Perhaps other store managers will be this helpful.

Rebecca, The clear care rebate is valid. I went directly to the site and it is there for anyone to print.

I got the $3 CRT and it is for any Revlon Cosmetics. Does anyone know if this would include nail polish? I never know what products are eligible when I get these types of CRT’s. Thanks

26 Sue July 22, 2008 at 12:56 pm

Julie-
Yes, you just hand them the part of the receipt that says $3.00 Extra Bucks or whatever – you can tear off that part of the receipt and hand it to them, just like a coupon. They scan the barcode. Remember to do this AFTER you have given them any other coupons you might be using.

I thought it was a slow week but I have a GREAT plan… excited. I love CVS
