Regional Store Deals: Harvey’s, Kroger, Stop & Shop

by crystal on June 11, 2008

Harvey’s Supermarkets: Organic Product Sale – From Suzanne:
Our
Harvey’s Supermarkets have had all their organic products on sale. I
was told it was a close-out sale. Amy’s and Cascadian Farms were marked
way down at my store–50-75% off. I was able to use coupons and got
several items for pennies (there are Cascadian Farms coupons here). I believe Harvey’s is owned by Food Lion (or
vice versa), so it may be the same at those stores as well.
Kroger Deals – From Hannahlore:

I wanted to tell everyone that Kroger has some boxes of
Cascadian Farm cereal on sale (again, coupons here). Also, on select boxes there are $5 worth of coupons
for organic products on the back of the box (2 milk coupons, 1 frozen fruit, 1 box
eggs–and several of these products are on sale right now, too!)

Our Kroger also has trial sizes of Brut razors for $1. Using the $1/1 Brut coupon, I got a pkg for free.

Also Gillette shower gel trial sizes are $1. Use the $1/1 coupons and get those free as well.

Stop & Shop: $0.50/box Smart Start Cereal – From Esther:

I was just at my Stop & Shop here in RI, and they are discontinuing
the Cinnamon Raisin version of Smart Start cereal, and it’s marked down
to $2 instead of $3.99. By using the $3/2 coupon that was available online, I was able to get boxes for $0.50 apiece!

Walgreens: $0.99 Paper (Nashville) – From Camille:

Walgreens in Nashville is offering the Sunday paper for
$0.99 (regularly $1.75). The cashier at Walgreens told me that they are
running this deal every week through Sept. 28., 2008.

The Walgreens stores in Wichita are also selling the paper for $.99, so perhaps it’s a national promotion. I don’t usually go on Sundays, but I’m tempted to stop and get the paper for the extra coupons. I know I’d save more than $1!

I found a good deal on meat this morning at Giant Eagle (Ohio). I found if you shop early in the morning on a week day (not Monday)- they sell meat in the case marked down from the day before. I got natural organic lean ground beef for $2.50/lb. Also some bagged salad was marked $1 off- I got baby spinach for $1.50 a bag.

Do you happen to know of any blogs that post deals for Giant or Weis in Pennsylvania? Those are our two main grocery stores here in Central PA, and I would love to find a blog about the deals from those two stores.

Hello!

I noticed you had listed a deal this week for HP Printer Paper at Walmart. I think you meant to put a link for a $3 off coupon but the link is non existing. Please let me know the address. I would love that coupon! Thank you =)

At Kroger in Ohio I found double packs of Lysol nutra air on sale for $2.00. There was a coupon for B1G1 free in a recent insert. So that is 4 bottles for $2.00!!!
