For those new to couponing, you can stack a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 store sale and get two free! Just buy two products, use the B1G1 coupon, and the store will give you one free and the manufacturer will give you one free. You’ll only pay tax on the two!

Hi..thanks for all the great info!! How would the max factor b1g1 and the coupon for b1g1 work? Do I give kmart 2 coupons?
I am a little confused over this one. I have had several stores tell me that you have to BUY one to get one, and in the senario you describe, I wouldn’t be buying anything. Usually when a store has a BOGO, they are getting a deal from the manufacturer.
Have many people been able to “stack” like this? Because I sure haven’t!
On certain boxes of Special K cereal (fruit & yogurt and chocolate delight) there is an offer on Freeman beauty products (body scrub, body wash, body butter). These products smell good! If you buy two cereals then send in the little proofs of purchase you get a free beauty product. In our area (Southeastern U.S.) Big Lots has this cereal for $2.30.

If Kmart has a B1G1 sale, and you have two coupons, you can grab 4 makeup items….
If you have only one coupon, you grab 2 items. Do you follow? I know it can be kind of confusing at first, but Max Factor is SO worth a drive to our local Kmart!!

I am confused with the Kmart coupon as well. You bought two macara and 2 lip gloss and got two free. one from kmart and one from manuf. and only paid $1.12 for all 4? Was the other two really cheap or on sale? I was there this morning but everything I saw was 5.99 and 6.99

We never get the B1G1 coupons here in California. On our P&G insert, we only have the ads for Max Factor and even for Covergirl..

For those confused, Bobbie bought four items (probably each for around $6.99), used two B1G1 coupons, and got two free from the store sale and two free from the manufacturer.
Not all stores/cashiers will allow you to use coupons like this, but coupons are set up to ring through like this and it is legal usage of coupons.
Sorry, I’m still confused. Bobbie said she got four items total. What Crystal described was how to get two items free except tax. So did Bobbie do two separate transactions to get the four items?

She bought four items, used two coupons, got two free from the store, two free from the coupons = four total. The store gave her two free when she bought four, and then the coupons took off the price of the other two. Make sense?
I only had one B1G1 coupon, but my Kmart took it with no problem. Some Pedigree products were on sale, but nothing at my Kmart (in MT) was clearanced. The cheapest things I could find were $2.99. Thanks for the tip, Bobbie!

Albertsons also has all Cover Girl and Max Factor makeup 50% off this week (through next Tuesday)…at least here in Northern Florida. Combined with coupons there are surely some good deals to be had.
I also took advantage of this deal. My coupons said face makeup, so I thought that meant blush or powder. I got 56.00 of make-up for only the tax!! My clerk did not even want to scan my coupons, because he said, and I quote “That’s not fair. You can’t come to the store and get free stuff” I said, that’s part of the game of couponing. I work darn hard to find these deals and you will at least give me the chance and scan my coupons to see if it works. He called his manager and she said to scan it and if the computer takes it, then so be it. Why do people have such an issue with couponing and saving money??
Has anyone tried the buy X get X on next order from Kmart? Do you know if that works for before coupons or after?
Also I saw Ban on clearance at my kmart today for $1.34 – it was on the top shelf, but if you use the $1/1 coupon from the All You magazine (June) it would be $.34!!

I went to Kmart tonight with my 2 coupons of B1G1 and the kid didn’t have a clue what he was doing, but the manager came over and voided what he did out and redid it and I got two mascara’s and two lip glosses and only paid $1.23! Thanks for the heads up.
Kmart is too much of a drive for me for this, but I also have a $2 off Max Factor, that I *think* came out of either USA Weekender or Parade (the weekend magazines in the paper), expires 6/30. If anyone else has this, I think it could be thrown into the deal for overage?? I’ve never really “couponed” at Kmart though.

Okay, it didn’t work out perfectly, but here’s what happened:
I got 4 items for $8.99 and 2 items for $6.49, I had 3 BOGO FREE q’s. The register automatically took off $8.99 twice and $6.49 once. Then the cashier took off $8.99 once and $6.49 twice. I tried to explain to her that she should’ve taken off $8.99 twice and $6.49 once but I think she figured out that I was going to be getting them for free then and she wouldn’t. The baby was crying at this point so I just let it go. I even went to the CS Desk afterwards, but the woman there had absolutely no clue what was going on. I ended up paying $4.50 for all of it, $2 something for tax and the $2.50 for her “mistake”. Oh well, still a great deal, but definately not free like I’d hoped! Good luck with this!
Thanks so much! Worked like a charm. Paid tax only for a blush, a powder, and two lip glosses!(would have been valued at 32.00) I have done this at Walgreen’s before never thought about looking for other adds for BOGO. Moral of the story…BoGO coupons are a GOOD THING!

However, there are some $1/1 Sunsilk shampoo/conditioner coupons from one of the Sunday paper inserts that you can use on the travel sizes at Kmart. Final price is FREE!
$60 worth of make-up, 2 lip gloss, two powders, two blush, and paid $2 in tax! I mainly went because I wanted to see if it would work.
The guy did ring up a 10.99 coupon for 8.99 and then kept apologizing to me for taking so long…I was just trilled that he was willing to take the time to fix the mistake!
We went to Kmart today an we had Two of these BOGO coupons, and the Older Cashier said she cant take these coupons when there is a sale for the same thing. I would get it for Free! I told Her Yes that is the Idea I am sill tech. Buying 2 sets as per the coupons state. Se had to go over to the Head cashier to see if she can do this and they called someone on the phone. and after about 5 MINS of a discussion they came back and said I cannot use them. I complained a little then offered a compromise and said I will Use 1 coupon for the 4 items (So I will be purchasing 1 out of 4 (Which is still a good deal) and they would not do it!!! mind you I did have about $25.00 in other items with this order. I have 2 more Kmarts in my area I am going to try one tomorrow with one coupon (for 2 items) instead of 2 coupons for 4 and if that works. I will go out to the car with my groceries and go back in for another 2! I will keep all of you advised on what happens tomorrow!

Tried to do this at my Kmart and I was told I can’t use a coupon because it’s already on sale. Tried to explain to manager that every other store on the planet takes coupons whether things are on sale or not. I think they just couldn’t figure out how to do it in the register.
