Kansas City Area Deals

by crystal on June 6, 2008

Once again, these deals are courtesy of FishMama. And of course there have to be a few things I really want to buy whenever I’m supposed to not be shopping. If I bought things and didn’t use them until the Two-Week Grocery Experiment was over with, would that still be cheating?? I’m still thinking about that!

Unless noted, all prices are good through Tuesday.

I went to Hen House tonight and got a great deal on pop. My dh loves diet pop in his lunch for work, and prefers the brand name stuff, so I buy it weekly…lol….and tonight here’s what I did to get a little extra off:

Hen House: Coke products on sale $5.48 for 24 pack. Buy 3 and get $3.00 automatically. THEN, I found another $3.00 manufacturer’s coupon in the Hy-Vee flyer, so I clipped it and they let me use it, too. So, I ended up getting $6.00 off, which brought the price to what it would normally cost for 3 of the 12 packs, so I got almost double for the same amount of money! Woohooo! I was thrilled! :)

I got the Boneless, skinless chicken breast – $1.69/lb at Constentino’s Price Chopper on Thursday (still available), AND it is raised with no antibiotics. Normally 4.00 a lb! I stocked WAY up. Also, Ragu at .99 Limit 2. Buy 2 and use the .50/2 coupon from….5/18? Not sure… 1.50 for 2. Then there are Korr sides at 1/1, with a coupon of .60/2. That one is RP 5/18 is I remember correctly. Ends up to be 1.40 for 2.
