These deals are not in my ad for Dayton, Ohio. Are they unadvertised or perhaps regional? I have the coupons so was excited to do it!
Melanie: As far as I know, these are unadvertised deals. I’ve not tried them myself yet, but have heard multiple confirmations that they appear to be working nationwide.
what is the CVS booklet?
I just purchased a Gillett Fusion Power razor with bonus kit for $3.98 and had $2.00 coupon. so it made it $1.98!!! It has a Gillette Power Razor, 1 duracell battery, 1 catridge , 1 full size gillette fusion shave gel and a sports water bottle!!! Great Deal…I purchased 5, Great Father’s day gifts
I tried to use one of the coupons from the CVS booklet at Target and it didn’t work – they said that even though it said “manufacturer’s coupon” because it also had CVS on it – it means it can only be used at CVS.
Tiffany: Just FYI, while some stores will tell you this, since it is a manufacturer’s coupon, it can be used at Target or other stores and they will be reimbursed for it. However, if you mention this and they still tell you they can’t accept it, I’d not worry about it and just try it at another store.
What is the CVS booklet?
I tried to do the Target list that is linked from this post and the cashier and manager wouldn’t let me do it. I’m so bummed. They said that because my coupon amounts were greater than the item cost they couldn’t do it. I told them that they could adjust the coupons down to match the price of the items and he said no. I’m going to email Target for their coupon policy. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I just went to my target and bought 6 of the perfect 10 haircolor. I did 3 transactions using the coupons plus using the $10 gift cards to pay for the next two set of haircolor. I payed $11 out of pocket and got all 6 hair colors.
With regards to the frozen tilapia deal at Meijer I know at the local Meijer I shop at (North East Indiana) you can’t use a coupon on an item you are getting for free already. I tried on laundry soap one time and it wouldn’t recognize the second coupon I scanned. This may only be at my store but just thought I would give you the heads up!
I don’t think I will be trying any more deals at target. I have never had them refuse coupons. They have always taken them for face value in the past. This had given me overage for other items I have bought. Well, today the cashier insisted on adjusting the coupon down. Not only that, but she forgot to ring in some of my coupons even though she put them in the drawer. I was in a hurry to get to work so I called the store manager and he said to come back in and he would fix it and that the cashier should have taken the coupons for face value. I went back in and a different manager told me that yes they should have been adjusted. She dug my coupons out and brought back a security guard with her ??? I was not even being annoyed let alone threatening. She told me that they had accepted some coupons they shouldn’t have so we were even. The coupon in question for her was the $1 joint juice. I bought 4 individual joint juices in the bottle. The coupon has no wording about what it is good for. But since it had a picture of joint juice in a can and I bought the bottle it wasn’t valid???? Any suggestions? I e-mailed corporate but I am sure I will get the standard letter back. Sorry to rant. This is my first bad coupon experience.
the Perfect 10 was a money maker for me. Becuase I also used to two $5 off nice’n easy target coupons. They were expired but they worked anyway. I got also got this info from Hot Coupon World.
I was at Target today and she had a problem with a coupon that was going to create overage. My total was so far zero, so I told her to ring up one of my items (a 1.00 filler item) and then try it.
SHe did and it went through.
It was for Bodreuaux Butt Paste.
I also went to Target… The cashier told me the coupons for all the trial and travel size items could not be used because they cost less than a dollar. The cashier was EXTREMELY RUDE. I went directly to the Guest Services and she told me the reason the coupons couldnt be used is because they were printed off the internet??? How else would you get coupons off of the internet without printing them- duh!! I honestly think both employees were just making something up and didnt want to be bothered. So, I wont be returning to that Target again… Too bad I go there a lot… I even have a baby registry there!
