It’s not yet possible to subscribe to your new site in Bloglines! It’s still offering the old blog as the only option. I tried the methodposted above, and it worked.

Question about Typepad vs. Blogger: you’re still able to use click links and paid advertisements with Typepad? I was thinking I read somewhere that you couldn’t (or maybe I’m thinking of WordPress?). I’m just getting started, but might be interested in switching if Blogger is causing so much grief.

Oh, I’m so sorry for all the hassle I’m sure this must have been!!! But I am glad you’re done with Blogger! It would be frustrating to be held back by their poor service (or lack of customer service, I guess!). I think all sites have their own technical issues at times, and I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to spend hours and hours on “backend” issues!!

As far as links opening in a new window, I just right-click and choose “open in a new tab/window” when I want to stay on the page I’m reading.

I subscribed to your new feed a couple days ago… still haven’t seen ANY updates through the old one.

Anyway, again, you have my sympathy, and my admiration — you know a whole lot more about the technical end of blogging than I do!! When I have a problem, I just ask Joshua to fix it all for me!!

To open a link in a new window, just right click on the link instead of left clicking and you can then choose Open Link In New Window. Hope that helps.

I was subscribed on bloglines, the new posts did NOT come through. I tried at add new but that didn’t work. I deleted then added new but that didn’t work either (old posts came through, not the new ones). I had to delete that then add new for http://moneysavingmom.typepad.com/money_saving_mom/

Just an FYI – maybe everything will straighten out later??
